Day 3- Brains & Bedtime

Today Cole has Scholar Day.

(They can't call it Nerd Day because it's offensive to the nerdy kids)

And Stella has Pajama Day.

It was weird taking her out of her jammies and

putting clean jammies on.

I think they both have their looks dialed in today.

Oh, and Cole has a "Kick Me" sign taped to his back.

They're enjoying Spirit Week.

Ugly Sweater

Well, here it is...

The ugly sweater

It doesn't look so bad here.

but when you get closer,

you notice the kittens

the flowers, and the bird houses

and Cole was also excited about showing off the pockets.

He got rave reviews at school.

It's Spirit Week!

I'm not sure how it happened-

but both kids have spirit week at their respective schools this week.

I'd say she's got the spirit!

I forgot to take a picture of Stella yesterday for

crazy hair and silly sock day.

And Cole didn't go to school yesterday,

so he missed "Lazy Day."

Today Cole is wearing his ugliest sweater.

I'll post a picture of that later.

And maybe by tomorrow I'll be on the ball enough

to get both kids in the same picture.

The Girl's Curls

When Stella was first born,

she had a full head of

black wavy hair.

Like most babies,

she lost a lot of her hair.

She had kind of a reverse 

mullet going on.

Now she's got a head full of curls

I think they're absolutely adorable

but I know there will come a day when Stella hates them.

I don't really know what to do with the curls.

So right now she just looks like a mop top.

We Have A Walker

Just a few days shy of 14 months...

we finally have a walker.

 

She's not always super graceful,

but she's definitely trying it out on her own.

I bet by Thanksgiving she'll be moving pretty good.

Rawr!

I know I've said before how

wonderfully lucky Stella is to have such a great big brother.

He plays with her, dances with her

and he enjoys teaching her new things.

Already this week he taught her how to say

"taco."

And then he taught her this...

Adorable, right?

I think so!

Not Sure Who's Enjoying This More

Well shoot.

I forgot to post again yesterday.

I thought about it last night after I went to bed.

But I just didn't want to get up to do my post.

So here it is, 

first thing in the morning.

The other night when I was making dinner

Cole was in charge of keeping his sister busy.

He decided that an episode of 

some crazy children's show

the name of which I can't ever remember

would be good to occupy her time.

Unfortunately, Stella is not much of a TV watcher.

She is, however, a lover of dancing...

I'm not sure who had more fun with this.
